 If you received a paper bill in the mail, you may be confused about how to pay it. This is a step-by-step guide on how to do so. With SportsMed Physical Therapy’s online payment portal, paying your bill is fast and easy.

How do I pay my SportsMed Physical Therapy bill online?

You can pay your SportsMed bill securely online through our patient portal or by clicking the “Pay My Bill” button on this page. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, HSA, and FSA cards. Payment plans are available for balances over $200.

SportsMed accepts nearly every major insurance plan in New Jersey and Connecticut, including Aetna, Cigna, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, Medicaid, Oxford, Tricare, GEHA, Magellan, Workers’ Compensation, and most auto/PIP plans. Call us to verify your specific plan.

With insurance, most SportsMed patients pay only their copay – typically $20 to $50 per visit. After meeting your deductible, many plans cover 80–100% of the cost. We verify benefits before your first appointment so you’ll know your exact cost upfront.

Yes. Our billing specialists provide a free, no-obligation cost estimate based on your insurance, deductible, and the services you’ll receive. Just call your local SportsMed clinic or submit a benefits verification request online.

Yes. SportsMed offers interest-free payment plans for balances over $200. You can split payments over 3, 6, or 12 months with no fees. Speak with our billing team to set one up.

Under the federal No Surprises Act, every uninsured or self-pay patient is entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before treatment. SportsMed provides this in writing within 1–3 business days of your request.

Call our billing department or submit a written dispute through the patient portal. We respond within 5 business days. If you disagree with the resolution, you may file an appeal with your insurance company or, for self-pay billing disputes over $400, with the federal patient-provider dispute resolution program.

Yes. SportsMed is in-network with most NJ and CT Workers’ Compensation carriers and PIP/no-fault auto insurers. We handle all paperwork and bill the insurer directly so there are no out-of-pocket costs to you.

 Yes. SportsMed bills your insurance directly for every covered visit. You only pay your copay or coinsurance at the time of service. We handle claims, follow-up, and appeals on your behalf.
